● Patent No. U.S. 6,337,137 B1 DSM N.V., Heerlen, The Netherlands, has patented a powder coatings binder. It is comprised of a functional endomethylene tetrahydrophthalic acid units; a crosslinker wherein the polymer is obtained by preparing an unsaturated polymer, and subsequently reacting the unsaturated polymer with cyclopentadiene at a temperature between 160°C and 220°C.
